Brow Lift Surgery
Your eyes — and everything around them — play a central role in how you communicate, connect, and express yourself. But as time passes, the eyebrows naturally begin to descend, and this can create a heavy, tired, or stern appearance. A brow lift gently elevates the brows and smooths forehead creases, helping to restore openness, ease, and vitality to your expression.
I’m Dr. Leela, and I believe the upper face is one of the most expressive and identity-shaping areas of the body. When the brows begin to sag, this can subtly shift how we’re perceived by others — and how we feel in our own skin. My approach to brow lift surgery focuses on enhancing your natural expression with softness and precision, so the results feel like you — just more rested, uplifted, and refined.

Who Is a Candidate for a Brow Lift?
You may be a good candidate for a brow lift if you:
- Notice heaviness or sagging in the brow area
- Feel that your resting expression looks tired, angry, sad, or stern
- Have deep horizontal forehead lines or vertical creases between the brows
- Are looking for a subtle, natural improvement in the upper face
- Are in good health and have realistic expectations
During your consultation, I’ll evaluate your facial anatomy, skin quality, and goals to determine whether a brow lift, blepharoplasty, or a combination approach will help you achieve the most balanced and refreshed results.
Benefits of Brow Lift Surgery
A brow lift offers a beautiful balance of aesthetic and emotional renewal. Benefits include:
- Elevating low-hanging brows for a more open expression
- Smoothing forehead creases and frown lines
- Softening a heavy or tired appearance in the upper face
- Creating a more youthful, approachable look
- Enhancing harmony between the forehead, eyes, and brows
The changes brought by a brow lift are typically subtle and natural-looking, yet deeply impactful — restoring a sense of lightness and ease in how you appear and how you feel.
About the Procedure
A brow lift is a rejuvenating procedure that elevates the brows to a more youthful, rested position — softening forehead lines, opening up the eye area, and restoring facial balance. The surgery typically takes 1.5 to 2 hours and may be performed as an open surgery or endoscopic procedure, depending on your anatomy, aesthetic goals, and the extent of correction needed. For either surgical approach, the underlying muscles are adjusted and the skin is gently redraped to smooth wrinkles and restore a naturally refreshed appearance.
The goal is not just to lift — it’s to reshape the natural arch of the brow, soften lines, and restore facial balance in a way that feels completely seamless with the rest of your features.

Surgical Techniques
There are two primary techniques I use for brow lift surgery, and the choice will depend on your facial structure, hairline, and goals:
- Endoscopic Brow Lift: This minimally invasive approach uses a few small incisions hidden within the hairline. A tiny camera (endoscope) allows me to lift and reposition the underlying muscles and tissues with incredible precision. This method is ideal for patients seeking moderate correction with minimal scarring and a shorter recovery.
- Open (Coronal or Hairline) Brow Lift: This traditional technique involves a longer incision behind or along the hairline and allows for more dramatic correction of deep forehead creases or significantly drooping brows. It is especially beneficial for patients with a higher forehead, as it allows for both brow elevation and subtle forehead shortening.
Each technique has its advantages, and I’ll help you determine the best one for your facial features, desired changes, and lifestyle. Every detail from incision placement to final brow shape will be carefully chosen to ensure soft, natural-looking results.
Recovery and Healing
After a brow lift, most patients return home the same day. Bruising and swelling around the eyes and forehead are normal during the first 1 to 2 weeks. I recommend sleeping with your head elevated and using cold compresses to assist your recovery. Most patients return to light activity or desk work within 7 to 10 days, though exercise and more strenuous movement should be avoided for about 3 to 4 weeks.
Your final results will become more refined over 4 to 6 weeks, revealing a more refreshed, lifted appearance that still feels authentically you.
